“The Lord takes pleasure in all He has made!” Psalm 104:31
Before sufficient light reveals even the palest of silhouettes of the trees opposite the valley, I anticipated the beauty of the arrival of dawn. The air was comfortably cool and fresh, and the entire area was full of the wonderfully pleasant sounds of an Ozark spring morning. I could hear a rooster in the distance as well as a variety of wild birds chirping from the surrounding woods. Everything seemed perfect this particular morning, as though God had prepared it for me to experience and to praise the Father of all creation for His greatness.
The Lord takes pleasure in all He has made. He too could look on the new morning in a small valley in the Ozarks and smile on all the quiet, peaceful beauty of His creation. He could see my love and appreciation for what He had made. He as well, in His omnipresence, simultaneously received the pleasure from all His creation round about the planet that same spring morning.
Your handiwork is displayed over all the earth, Father God. You have made all things for Your good pleasure. May I too in my submission to Your will bring You good pleasure throughout the day. Amen.
