A glimpse

ATD 162The Word

“After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a mighty shout, ‘Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!’

“And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to the ground and worshiped God. They sang, ‘Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” Revelation 7:9-12

This is indeed a future event described in the Bible which will quickly exhaust even the most imaginative natural mind. While we can revel with great anticipation this coming heavenly scene, it exceeds our natural senses to adequately envision.

Recall the most intense holy moment of worship you have ever experienced, whether alone or among thousands. Grasp for the most deeply spiritual vision or dream to help exemplify this coming celebration. Try as you may, all efforts will end anemically shy to supply what will unfold when this divine unveiling occurs.

Thank you for the words to help form some semblance of vision for the future honoring, exaltation, and worship for this and other future heavenly celebrations of you the only God. Thank you for a tiny glimpse of worship in its essence. Amen.
