“Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.” Genesis 6:9
Noah was a righteous man, one of upright character and high in moral values. The word “blameless” is used to describe him. Perhaps the thought shared at the end of this sentence explains how this was so. Noah walked in close fellowship with God and in the prior verse we are told he found favor with God. I think we can assume Noah spent much time in communion with God and loved and respected Him dearly. Why else would he spend so much time with Him and what other explanation could there be to explain his close fellowship? We seek and make time for those things we love and deem valuable to us.
Your love, friendship, and fellowship are both dear and needed by me. I pray for your Spirit to guard my heart and my time. May my heart be found in fullness of you, seeking diligently for you, and spending my time in your presence. Amen.
