“He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.” Ephesians 1:7, 8
What joy floods the heart as it dwell in the place of our heavenly Father’s wealth of grace and kindness. Overwhelming emotions appear at the thought of the sacrifice made to supply freedom for our souls. Christ died in our place, for our sins, but rose so we might know forgiveness. We cannot measure his grace, his kindness, as he showers it upon us. We can only experience the hope and joys contained within it, and praise him in awe and with grateful hearts.
You have showered me with your kindness, overwhelmed me with your love, your mercy, and your grace. I thank you for your forgiveness, for giving me life, when death was once my lot and what I deserved. Thank you Father for your rescue, thank you Father of life. Amen.
“and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”
