Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
Man often deems himself superior, often holding high his achievements as treasure. Power, prestige, the accumulation of wealth and earthly accolades are measured as valuable and thought capable of advancing one upward within the human chains of command.
God then steps upon the stage and all is lost in his shadow. From greatest to least, all is God’s. He is the maker of all things, the sustainer of all things, it exists for his good pleasure and to glorify his kingdom. He is the power, the focal point, yes, he is the great “I Am.”
I do adore you Lord because you are the only one glorious enough and worthy enough to adore. I worship you this morning Lord of lords, King of kings, God above all things. Be glorified! Amen.
“For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
