It has come at last—salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. (Revelation 12:10, 11)
Satan is relentless in the pursuit of condemnation, faultfinding, and criticizing. We are opposed by the darkness to our final earth moment as the evil one attempts to prosecute us with our failures and deficiencies. He opposes any and all given to God.
We do not stand though, in our weaknesses and failures, but instead abide cloaked in Christ’s triumph over all our sin. Though the accuser stands frothing venom, shouting outrages, demanding our doom and destruction, we will stand clothed in the righteousness of Christ, blameless before God because of the redeeming blood of Christ, which covers us from all sin and accusation.
Thank you, Redeemer God, for the forgiveness of my sin. For the triumph over my weaknesses and failures because of your great deeds. Amen.
“and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. “
