Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen. (Philippians 4:20)
The writer concludes with a statement of brevity, but oh what depth, breadth, and majesty lay solidly within it! The heart and soul of the reader is left to respond rightly in reverence and breathtaking awe, wholly lost in wonderment of the immensity of God’s certain promise and rich prospect.
God is our Father! Amazing and overflowing with truth, yes, the Father of all life is our Father! He is the Father who never wrongfully or unjustifiably forsakes or ignores those in his care. He has promised his ongoing paternal presence, and thus we will never experience the pain of absence or neglect in his perfect care. Not only does his ongoing paternal presence fill this earth life to its conclusion, but into the unending eternal realm as well.
All glory to you God! I worship you and exalt your name. You are holy, and you are magnificent in all your ways. I praise you; my heart is overwhelmed with awe and gratitude. You are the Father of glory, the Father of life. Amen.
“Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.”
