Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder: ‘Praise the Lord! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.’ For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. (Revelation 19:6-8)
This life is a vapor, a brief encounter at best. A flower that buds, briefly unfolds for display, and vanishes suddenly. Over extended calendars and daily concerns cause even the redeemed to forget the brevity of this earth experience.

In this Scripture, John, as scribe, glimpses into the eternal and describes, the best he can, this future cast gathering awaiting the sons and daughters of our Father God. This event, when it happens, will mark the beginning of never endings in the eternal adoration of the Divine. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.
You rule and reign with all authority and your dominion is everlasting. Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Holy is your name. Amen.
“For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
