The Lord reigns as king forever. (Psalm 29:10)
Every four years a new president is elected in the United States. Theories and conspiracies abound and surround the process because of financial influences, lack of integrity, corruption, and the ability to manipulate the masses. The hunger to dominate positions of wealth, power, and authority is not a socio-political malady of recent times, but a thorn throughout history.
Be assured, ultimate control remains where it has always rested, in the hands of Almighty God. Some scoff the existence of a divine Creator, others timidly admit the probability, and still others declare him real, but lifestyles reflect minimal credence beyond acknowledgement. Some, though, cannot imagine life outside loving and serving him, knowing him to be Ruler, Savior, and lover of their souls.
When the culmination of the ages occurs, the truth will stand, and the truth is, regardless of earthly positions, influences, how they arrived there, they will one day bow their knee, and confess with their tongue, Jesus Christ is Lord. And, as Lord, he will reign as king forever.
And of your glory, Lord Jesus, there will be no end. Amen.
“For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
