The Father’s Heart

The Word

But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. (Galatians 4:4-7)

The instrument to measure the love and compassion of the Father’s heart does not exist. The evidence does, and is found in each of his adopted sons and daughters.

Slaves once condemned to the darkness of sin, now liberated through the redemptive power of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. Guilty of every accusation, yet exonerated, and freed by the love, mercy, and sacrifice of the faultless Lamb.

Forgiven, but then the unfathomable blessing bestowed. For the one to whom we offended and betrayed, adopted us into his very household, his eternal kingdom, and made us his joint heirs.

I worship you Father, for you deserve and are worthy of worship. Amen.

“Our Father in heaven, Your name be honored as holy. “
