Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. (Psalm 103:22)
Of all we could do in life, contributions to global welfare, humanitarian efforts, advances and breakthroughs in health provision, technological progress, and all things artistic, they pale and vanish compared to our created purpose. Our highest acclaim is in Deity’s assignment for humanity. All he has made culminates in the paramount purpose, of honor and of worship to him.
His aim has always been and will always be, to be worshipped by his creation. The worship of God is life’s greatest offering, life’s greatest fulfillment. Worship is God’s divine destiny and gift to us, and his divine reward for us. All else sought by the heart of man will result in vanity, hopelessness, and an empty impoverished earth experience.
The worship of God fills the soul with unrestrained joy, and the promise of continuation of this privilege as it passes from this earth life, into eternal life.
You have made me to worship you. This is my destiny, the destiny of all humankind; this is why you created us and why we exist. Worship is the highest honor, the pinnacle of human emotion, the privilege of heart and soul. I glorify your name, and your majesty, O God! Amen.
“Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.”
