The Utmost

The Word

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. (Isaiah 9:6, 7)

The utmost gift from the heavenly Father, as provision to humanity, is Christ Jesus, God’s only Son. Without the introduction of the Messiah to the earth, all would have remained hopelessly dark and void of true life. God sent his Son into the world, as the light of the world.

In and through him, guidance for the heart became righteously navigable. In him and through him was given all things possible to live God’s will, in his strength, and in the depth of his flawless wisdom. In and through him, access to the Father was given, forever removing the damage of rejection, the lonely orphan’s heart, filling it with the completeness of the Father’s heart, and placing those in his care in the fullness of his family.

In and through him, the journey of the heart’s hungry quest for peace finds rest and abode. In this place, the kingdom of God, the government, each decision and action, fully functions with perfect fairness, holy justice, and divine peace forever.

Jesus Christ, the Messiah, God with us, this heavenly Father was your greatest gift of provision. Through Christ and his victorious redemptive work, each and every day becomes the fulfillment of the prayer, give us today our daily bread. You Lord are our provider for everything in every way. Amen.
