My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and He is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one. (John 10:27-30)
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others He has redeemed you from your enemies. (Psalm 107:1, 2)
In the activity and distraction of our fast-paced and information laden culture, we sometimes overlook some obvious and most important things.
First, gratefulness for the amazing liberty in the grace of Jesus Christ.
Second, gratefulness for his faithfulness to keep and care for those who hear his voice, follow him, and remain in his powerful care.
And third, to respond to his great provision of life by not keeping it silent or hidden, but speak out and tell others of the freedom God offers to those who will say yes to so great a salvation.
Lord, you are good and your love is everlasting. I am unworthy, but your great power has made me part of the flock under your divine care. I am overwhelmed and grateful. I will not be silent, and by your power, I will share your great grace with those willing to listen. Amen.
“…and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”
